JOB REQUIREMENTS

* Board: BC in Family Nurse Practitioner (AANP or ANCC)
* Licenses: Active Virginia RN license, Virginia NP license, DEA with Virginia address, prescriptive authority
* DEA / CDS: Active DEA with Virginia address required
* Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS required
* Experience: Preferred 2 years recent specialty experience; new graduates considered
* Other Qualifications: Case logs past 2 years, Preeclampsia CME, Malpractice coverage 2.75M/8.25M, Immunizations: MMR, Varicella, TB test, flu vaccine

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

* Provide emergency medical assessment and treatment for patients of all ages.
* Perform emergency procedures including suturing, splinting, and resuscitation.
* Collaborate with hospitalist and specialist physicians for patient care.
* Document patient encounters and maintain accurate medical records.
* Coordinate with nursing and support staff for efficient patient flow.
