JOB REQUIREMENTS

* Board: Board Certified (required)
* Licenses: Active PA License
* Certifications: ACLS, BLS
* Experience: Minimum 3 years of cardiothoracic experience
* Other Qualifications: Local provider required, clean background check

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

* Perform pre-operative physical exams and coordinate care for cardiothoracic surgery patients.
* Assist in surgery and perform chest tube insertions and endoscopic retrieval.
* Diagnose and treat illnesses, order and interpret tests, and write prescriptions.
* Provide post-operative rounding and suture removal.
* Ensure coordination of care and communication with the heart team.
