Adelphi is seeking Speech Language Pathologist Assistants (SLPA) to provide speech and language evaluation, direct and consultative services to students within schools in South Carolina. The ideal candidates will be expected to provide services that will enable students to reach their maximum communication potential.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in communication disorders
• Valid South Carolina S.L.P.A License
• Minimum 1 year experience


Responsibilities:
• Delivering direct and consultative speech/language pathology services in accordance with directives from management
• Collaborating with speech language pathologists, management and parents in Individual Education Plan (IEP) sessions
• Upholding the confidentiality of student records and respecting the privacy of both student and department records
• Providing speech/language evaluation and re-evaluation support for students in the region
• Maintaining appropriate records for all children receiving SLP services
• Providing recommendation and support as needed for parents of children in Special Education
• Supervising students as assigned
• Other duties as assigned
