Total # of beds in the unit:8. Average daily census:30-40. Age Groups: Infants, Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics Unit Patient population: General Surgical Cases, Neuro, Ortho, Abdominal surgeries, GYN, Urological surgeries, Plastics, ENT. Certifications/Skills required: BLS, Scrub & Circulate. Special medications on the unit: Anesthesia gives medications. Procedures that could cause ethical issues: Yes, termination of pregnancy.Depending on census will float if necessary. Scrubs provided.
