The Cardiac Sonographer performs diagnostic echocardiographic examinations to assist physicians in evaluating cardiac structure and function. The role includes obtaining and optimizing ultrasound images, performing appropriate cardiac measurements, documenting examination findings, maintaining accurate patient records, and working with cardiologists and other clinical staff to support patient diagnosis and care.
- Requirements

Completion of an accredited Cardiac Sonography, Echocardiography, or related program
RDCS or RCS credential preferred/required according to facility policy
Current BLS certification
Echocardiography experience preferred
Knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology
