Join Our Team as a Certified Surgical Technologist!

The Certified Surgical Technologist supports surgical procedures by preparing and organizing the operating room before each case, ensuring surgical instruments and supplies are properly arranged and available, and assisting the surgical team throughout procedures. The role includes maintaining the sterile field, passing instruments and supplies to surgeons, anticipating the needs of the surgical team, assisting with room turnover, and helping maintain a safe and efficient operating environment.

Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program
Current Certified Surgical Technologist credential through NBSTSA or an approved credentialing organization
Current Virginia Surgical Technologist registration/certification as applicable
Current BLS certification
Knowledge of sterile technique, surgical instrumentation, and OR procedures
Ability to work effectively with surgeons, nurses, and other OR personnel
Previous OR experience preferred
