Job Description

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a contract night-shift opportunity at Bel-Aire Center in Newport, Vermont.

The LPN will provide direct resident care, administer medications and treatments, monitor resident conditions, maintain accurate clinical documentation, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to residents.
Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
Monitor residents and report changes in condition.
Complete accurate and timely nursing documentation.
Communicate changes in resident condition to the healthcare team.
Follow facility policies, procedures, and applicable nursing standards.
Maintain resident safety, dignity, and quality of care.

Requirements
Active Vermont LPN license.
Current BLS certification.
LTC/SNF experience preferred.
Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to work the assigned 12-hour night shift.
Must be available for the required schedule.

🔹 12-hour night shifts
🔹 Current opening: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
🔹 Contract: 09/01/2026 – 12/06/2026
🔹 Other available assignments may require 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
🔹 Every other weekend may be required depending on the assignment
🔹 One assignment requires 2 days per week with every-other-weekend coverage
🔹 Shift and contract dates may vary by assignment
