Registered Nurse – Emergency Department and Medical-Surgical Units

Estimated Hours: Per diem or 6 week contract
Shifts: Day and Night Needs

Pay Rate: $50 an hour

Position Summary:
BOS Medical Staffing is seeking compassionate and skilled Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our clinical team across the Emergency Department (ED) and Medical-Surgical (Med/Surg) units. The RN will provide high-quality, patient-centered care while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in accordance with established nursing standards and hospital policies
Deliver direct patient care, including medication administration, treatments, and monitoring of patient conditions
Respond promptly to changes in patient status, particularly in critical and emergency situations
Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and healthcare team members to coordinate care plans
Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatments, and post-discharge care
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic medical records
Adhere to infection control, safety, and regulatory guidelines
Qualifications:

Current, unencumbered nursing license in the state of Georgia
At least 2 years of Medical Surgical or ER experience required
American Heart Association BLS AND ACLS certification
PALS required for the Emergency Department
Basic computer skills for charting
Experience using Sapphire for charting preferred
Ability to work as part of team and multi-task
Fast-paced hospital setting with exposure to a variety of patient populations
Requires flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
Physical demands include standing, walking, and assisting with patient mobility
Candidates must pass a criminal background check including an FBI Fingerprint Criminal History
Check and Pre-employment drug screen
