* Hospital Privileges Required: Yes (must be credentialed at Saint Joseph Hospital)
* Credentialing Timeline: 90-110 days

REQUIRED PROCEDURES
First assisting in CABG, AVR, MVR, thoracotomy/lung resections; vein harvest; chest tube placement; surgical CT.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

* Board: Board Certification required
* Licenses: Active KY License or willingness to obtain
* DEA: Active DEA certification required
* Certifications: ACLS, BLS, DEA
* Other Qualifications: Clean malpractice history preferred; availability at time of name clear

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

* First assist in cardiothoracic surgeries including CABG, AVR, MVR, and thoracotomy/lung resections
* Perform vein harvest and chest tube placement
* Manage telemetry and ICU patients
* Take night call (7p-7a) and weekend 24-hour call duties
* Conduct inpatient rounds and surgical procedures during weekend coverage
