We are seeking experienced Psychiatric Registered Nurses (RNs) for a 13-week travel assignment primarily working in a Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU). This role involves caring for patients experiencing acute mental health crises, providing psychiatric assessments, medication administration, crisis intervention, and ensuring a safe therapeutic environment.

Shift: 7:30 AM - 8:00 PM / 7:30 PM - 8:00 AM
Schedule: 3/4 rotating schedule
Hours: 36 or 48 hours per week
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Start Date: ASAP
Compensation
36 Hours/Week: $1,805 weekly gross
48 Hours/Week: $2,365 weekly gross
Responsibilities
Perform psychiatric nursing assessments and ongoing patient evaluations
Administer and monitor psychiatric medications
Monitor patients on suicide precautions and safety observations
Respond to behavioral emergencies and assist with de-escalation techniques
Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, social workers, and interdisciplinary teams
Complete accurate and timely documentation
Maintain a safe and therapeutic treatment environment
Provide patient education and emotional support

Active RN license
Minimum 1 year of psychiatric nursing experience preferred
Experience in CSU, inpatient behavioral health, Baker Act receiving facilities, detox, corrections, or acute psychiatric settings strongly preferred
BLS required
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced behavioral health environment
