We are looking for a great nurse to function as a Clinical Care Coordinator for the Gynecology-Oncology team. This position is the sole nursing position on the team and therefore is the person coordinating patient care, performing patient education, assisting with clinical care, and the point of contact for patients. It is an outpatient clinic position, Monday-Friday position. No weekends or holidays.
This nurse should have considerable experience—at least 3 years of med surg experience and hospital-based outpatient physician practice experience. GYN-Oncology is a complex specialty so ideally the nurse will have experience in GYN-Oncology, or general gynecology and/or oncology. Chemotherapy experience is not necessary but would be helpful.
We realize this may be a challenging recruit, and we will consider a very experienced outpatient nurse with no GYN or oncology experience, but the candidate would have to have considerable outpatient practice experience to be considered.
BSN required
