Occupational Therapy Assistant

Adelphi is seeking a qualified Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide on-site therapy services for a School in Sarasota County, Florida.

The ideal candidate will work closely with school administration to provide services to students in accordance with established guidelines and standards of practice.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Have a valid School Occupational Therapy Assistant License issued by Licensed by the State of Florida.

• Minimum one (1) year of experience working with students in a school setting.

• Minimum one (1) year of experience working with students with multiple disabilities.

• Minimum one (1) year of experience participating in IEP meetings.

• Minimum one (1) year of experience writing therapy goals for IEPs.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide the day-to-day applied therapy and teacher support under the direction of an Occupational Therapist.

• Any other duties as assigned
