Job Description
Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week assignment at St. Joseph Hospital in Orange, CA. The technologist will work in a high-volume imaging department, providing top-tier nuclear medicine services in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities:
Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients.

Operate gamma cameras and imaging equipment.

Ensure quality diagnostic imaging procedures.

Maintain patient safety and confidentiality.

Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and nursing staff.

Adhere to hospital policies and nuclear regulatory compliance.

Participate in on-call rotations as needed.

Qualifications
Education:
Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program.

Experience:
Minimum 1-2 years of recent experience in a hospital setting preferred.

License/Certification:
Valid Nuclear Medicine Technologist certification (ARRT-N or NMTCB).

California State Licensure (CRT and Nuclear Medicine Tech required).

BLS (Basic Life Support) – AHA required.

Skills:
Strong knowledge of nuclear imaging modalities.

Proficient in patient care and radiation safety.

Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Valid Nuclear Medicine Technologist certification (ARRT-N or NMTCB).
California State Licensure (CRT and Nuclear Medicine Tech).
BLS (Basic Life Support) – AHA
