Speech-Language Pathologist (Acute Care) – Contract

📍 Sioux Falls, South Dakota

We are seeking an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a 13-week acute care contract across multiple hospital settings in Sioux Falls.

💼 Key Details

Pay: $2,767.67 weekly gross ($38.04/hr + $57.06 OT + $1,246 stipend)

Schedule: 40 hours/week (5x8s)

Setting: Acute Care

Float: Across specialty, behavioral health, and heart hospital units

👥 Patient Population

Neonate through geriatric patients.

🎯 Responsibilities

Perform speech, language, and swallowing assessments

Deliver treatment plans and patient education

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams

Maintain accurate documentation

🧠 Experience

Pediatrics: articulation, feeding, fluency, language disorders

Neuro: dementia, aphasia, CVA, dysphagia, TBI, cognitive impairments

🛠️ Skills & Requirements

Minimum 1+ year experience

CCC-SLP certification

Knowledge of IDDSI standards

Experience with FEES, MBS, and language/cognitive assessments
