Join our dynamic team as a PA, RN or NP this summer in beautiful Bridgton, ME, where you’ll support the health needs of a lively community of 275 campers and staff. Collaborating with our experienced medical team, you’ll provide essential care while also managing several campers with Type 1 Diabetes. This role offers a unique opportunity to engage in the vibrant camp life, enhancing your nursing skills and making lasting memories in a supportive and fun environment filled with diverse experiences.
As part of our experienced medical team, you will:
-Assist our camp doctor and seasoned team of returning RNs in supporting the overall health needs of a vibrant resident community of 275 campers and staff, and the care and daily management of a small number of campers with Type 1 Diabetes.
-Provide triage, routine care, medication management, and health education as needed supportive, and fun healthcare environment
-Participate in the life of camp -meet people from around the world and enjoy the energy and joy of summer camp!
Meet Our Camp Doctor:
Our medical team is led by an exceptional physician with over 20 years of experience in Pediatrics, specializing in Pediatric Critical Care in an ICU setting. Trained in the UC system and having spent 11+ years at Stanford as Director of the ICU, our doctor brings unmatched expertise, outstanding leadership, and a deep commitment to providing the highest standard of care for our campers and staff.

Qualifications:
-Physician Assistant (PA), Registered Nurse (RN), Nurse Practitioner (NP)
-CDCES certification preferred
-Experience with Type 1 Diabetes management a plus
-Positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a love for working with children
-Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced camp environment
