Registered Nurse – Medical-Surgical – Nights – 5:00 PM–5:30 AM – Relocation Candidates Welcome Location: Salmon, ID Duration: 13 Weeks Specialty: Medical-Surgical Shift Time: Nights – 5:00 PM–5:30 AM Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours/Week Start: 11/2/2026 We are seeking an experienced Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) to join a critical access hospital in Salmon, ID and provide high-quality, patient-centered care across a diverse medical-surgical population. In this role, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, and implement individualized care plans for patients with a wide range of acute and chronic conditions. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact while advancing your clinical expertise in a dynamic inpatient setting. 📋 Key Responsibilities • Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions, vital signs, and responses to treatment throughout each shift • Administer medications and treatments accurately in accordance with physician orders and established protocols • Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team • Educate patients and families on diagnoses, discharge instructions, and self-care strategies • Communicate significant changes in patient status to physicians and appropriate care team members in a timely manner • Perform wound care, IV line management, catheter care, and other clinical procedures as indicated • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) in compliance with facility standards ✅ Requirements • Active ID or Compact RN license • BLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring, PALS certifications • 2+ years of Medical-Surgical experience • ACLS certification preferred or required based on facility • Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and patient communication skills Pay Pay range: $2,016 to $2,108 per week. Travel Med/Surg RN package: up to $2,108/week (36 hours) = $34/hour taxable + up to $884/week in travel reimbursements if eligible under IRS tax-home and expense rules. Local package: $56/hour fully taxable ($2,016/week for 36 hours). Overtime paid in accordance with applicable wage-and-hour laws and the assignment agreement. Actual compensation varies based on hours worked, assignment terms and travel reimbursement eligibility.
Requirements

Active ID or Compact RN license
BLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring, PALS certifications
2+ years of Medical-Surgical experience
ACLS certification preferred or required based on facility
Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and patient communication skills
