REQUIREMENTS:

* Will also be required to float to other Med-Surg units (Respiratory, Stroke, Cardiac, etc.) and possibly the ED as well if appropriately skilled/knowledgeable.
* 36 hours/week, day shift (7p- 7:30a) with every other weekend required.
* Current Epic EMR proficiency is required (refresher classes or having someone sit 1:1 with them is NOT an option), so please ensure that this is documented in the referral information.
* Active BLS and ACLS are both required.
* Minimum 3 years of current/recent Telemetry/Med Surg required
* Must be able to read Telemetry/BCRA; they will be tested for this skill on day one and will be immediately terminated if they cannot pass the competency; will also be immediately terminated if we discover they are not Epic proficient.
* 3+ years of experience
* BLS
* ACLS

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Primarily work on 1S Observation unit.
* Float to other Med-Surg units (Respiratory, Stroke, Cardiac, etc.) and possibly the ED as well if appropriately skilled/knowledgeable.
