Lead Nursing in Beautiful Scarborough's Serene Environment!

Pine Point Center is seeking an experienced Director of Nursing (DON) for a 9-week contract assignment. The DON will provide clinical and operational leadership to the nursing department, ensuring residents receive high-quality, safe, and compassionate care.

The ideal candidate will have strong nursing leadership experience, preferably within a skilled nursing, rehabilitation, long-term care, or nursing home environment, and will be comfortable overseeing clinical operations, nursing staff, quality initiatives, and regulatory compliance.

Provide overall leadership and direction for nursing services
Supervise, support, and develop nursing staff
Ensure quality resident care and compliance with clinical standards
Oversee staffing, scheduling, and nursing operations
Monitor resident care plans and changes in condition
Support admissions, discharges, and transitions of care
Maintain compliance with facility policies and applicable regulatory standards
Participate in quality improvement and performance initiatives
Support infection prevention and patient/resident safety programs
Maintain accurate clinical documentation
Work collaboratively with physicians, providers, nursing leadership, residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams
Assist with survey readiness and corrective-action initiatives as required
