Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical - Travel - (MS RN)
StartDate: 4/6/2026 Available Shifts: 12 N Pay Rate: $2159.00 - $2293.00

C6 Surgical Short Stay Number of Beds: 18 beds; semi-private rooms and private rooms C6 is a 23-hour unit where various surgeries are seen which include but are not limited to: ENT, thoracic, neurosurgery, orthopedics, GYN, GYN oncology, urology, and general surgery Post-surgical setting caring for patients that have undergone ENT, thoracic, neurosurgery, orthopedics, GYN, GYN oncology, urology, and general surgery. These are patients that are here for 23 hours and then discharged home or to a facility as needed. Special skills-Cortrak management, IV insertion, phlebotomy, Vocera use, tele, traction, ostomy care Procedures performed on unit: Assist with Chest tube insertion; Central Lines, Wound Vac changes, NG, Cortrak, catheter, indwelling catheters

Required Qualifications
Registered Nurse, MS
Licenses: RN-NY
Certifications: BLS-AHA
SSN Required
DOB Required
Work History: Should not be more than 0 days of gap in entire work history
References: 1 Reference in the last 12 months

1 year of experience required at a 600+ bed academic hospital w/passing competency testing score
2 years of experience, NO testing required
Competency test required within 48 hours of submission, sent via HSH to candidates email. Please ensure an up-to-date email is provided at time of submission.
EPIC Experience
Trauma levels need to be included on every work entry.
Work history must be updated to current date
One reference within the past 12 months from a manager or Supervisor
