Adelphi is seeking Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide temporary nursing services at a facility in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. The ideal candidate will provide onsite inpatient nursing care, including medication administration, treatment support, documentation, order transcription, and psychiatric/medical emergency response.

REQUIREMENTS
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Active State of Alabama Registered Nurse license.
• Minimum of one year of verifiable nursing experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification from a certified instructor, with written proof available.
• Knowledge of principles, practices, and techniques in professional nursing.
• Ability to understand and follow oral and written orders and instructions in exact detail.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and charts.
• Must be available to report for assignment within 48 hours of request, as needed.
• Must be able to complete facility-specific orientation and ongoing training.
• Must complete license verification, background check, and drug screening.
• Must complete TB screening, flu vaccine verification/declination, and confidentiality requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide nursing care to inpatient behavioral health clients.
• Supervise, monitor, and assist in the delivery of patient care.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with nursing standards and facility procedures.
• Assist with treatment implementation and patient care assignments.
• Complete chart documentation and maintain accurate patient records.
• Transcribe and follow provider orders as required.
• Respond to psychiatric and medical emergencies according to facility procedures.
• Support patient care in designated observation areas and other assigned areas of the facility.
• Follow applicable nursing standards of care, Joint Commission, Medicare, and Medicaid standards.
• Participate in facility-specific orientation and ongoing training.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with all facility policies and procedures.
• Wear required uniform and picture identification while on assignment.
• Maintain reliable attendance and work assigned shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Participate in performance review, quality assurance, and compliance activities as required.
