Job Description:

This high-acuity Adult Emergency Department provides advanced care for trauma, cardiac, burns, psych, medical, and surgical emergencies. The pace is fast, the turnover is rapid, and the patient population is diverse — ideal for seasoned ER nurses ready for a challenging yet rewarding environment.

With 64 beds, a dedicated trauma team, and extensive interdisciplinary support, you’ll work in an environment that elevates your critical-thinking, rapid-assessment, and emergency response skills.

Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of recent ER experience
Required Experience: Level I Trauma (mandatory)
Travel Experience: Required
Charting: Epic (required)
Certifications:
Required: BLS, ACLS
Preferred: TNCC, CPI
Weekend Rotation: Every third weekend
Float: As needed within scope

Core Skills:
IV / Vascular:
IV therapy, starting & maintaining IVs
Arterial line management
Pulmonary artery lines*

Medications:
IV vasopressors
Continuous IV paralytics
Continuous IV sedation*
Procedural sedation

Respiratory:
CPAP/BiPAP
Vent management
High-acuity airway support

Cardiac Monitoring:
Dysrhythmia interpretation
Dysrhythmia management
Rapid Response & Code participation

Additional:
Triage*
Surgical/trauma resuscitation
Stroke response
High-acuity psych patients
