- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for medical and pre-operative surgical patients.
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and respond promptly to changes in patient status.
- Coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges in a high-turnover rapid admission unit.
- Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Adhere to infection prevention, safety, and hospital policies while delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 2 years of recent Medical-Surgical RN experience.
- Current BLS Certification (additional certifications as required by the facility).
