Pioneer Homecare
Pioneer Homecare, LLC was established in 2014 as authorized by the Connecticut Department of Social Services for providing quality care for a male patient who has Muscular Dystrophy. He is orientated, active and is continuing to live as much of a full life as possible. This is an excellent opportunity for those who prefer working in a pleasant suburban home.
The work includes administration of medications, bed-care, trach-care and similar. An applicant without prior experience in performing these tasks can be trained in house. Occasionally, the work may include accompanying the patient in wheelchair to entertainment and social events and sometimes help him with clerical tasks.
Free lodging may be provided for a qualified in-house nurse in the patient’s residence after the current live-in nurse’s anticipated retirement.
In addition to their regular pay, net income shall be distributed between all nurses at the end of each calendar year, in proportion of their regular time hours that year.
Compensation: Based on experience, RN $45.00/hr., LPN $37.00/hr. to start.
Extras: Free lodging can be provided for a qualified in-house nurse in the patient’s large residence after the current live-in nurse’s anticipated retirement.
In addition to the regular pay, net income, which is variable depending on the cost of overtime and possible unanticipated expenses, will be distributed between all nurses at the end of each calendar year, in proportion of their regular hours worked that year.
Requirements: Active RN or LPN license in Connecticut. First Aid/BLS certified.
Commuting: Except for the live-in nurse, the nurses to be considered should live within approximately 25 mile radius from Greenwich, and should be not more than an hour commuting distance from Greenwich, CT.
