Registered Nurse

Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Med-Surg & ICU
Job Summary:

Provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care in both Medical-Surgical and Intensive Care Unit settings. The RN will assess patient conditions, administer treatments, monitor progress, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Patient Care

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
Monitor vital signs, symptoms, and patient progress
Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments safely
Provide wound care, post-operative care, and chronic disease management

ICU-Specific Duties

Manage critically ill patients requiring close monitoring
Operate and monitor life-support equipment (ventilators, cardiac monitors)
Respond to emergencies and perform advanced life support when required
Interpret diagnostic tests (ABG, ECG, lab results)

Med-Surg Duties

Care for patients with a wide range of acute and chronic conditions
Assist in pre- and post-operative care
Educate patients and families on recovery and disease management

Collaboration & Documentation

Work closely with doctors, specialists, and healthcare teams
Maintain accurate and timely patient records
Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Diploma in Nursing
Valid RN license (as per local regulatory body)
Certifications: BLS (required), ACLS (preferred for ICU)
Experience:
1–5+ years in Medical-Surgical and/or ICU settings
Experience with critical care equipment and patient monitoring
