🩺 Job Description:

As a Travel RN – Med Surg, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting. This position is ideal for experienced nurses who are adaptable, detail-oriented, and thrive in dynamic environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct nursing care to patients with a variety of medical and surgical conditions
Perform patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and update care plans accordingly
Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as prescribed
Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR) system
Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions
Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and emergency situations
Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control protocols

Requirements:

Active RN license (state or compact)
Minimum 1–2 years of Med Surg experience
BLS (AHA) certification required (ACLS preferred)
Previous travel experience is a plus
Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills

Associate’s degree in nursing required. Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred. 
RN license required. CPR required 
BLS, ACLS, NIHSS EKG required.
2 years experience required, 5 years preferred. 
Travel Experience Required.
