Job Description
Summary:
We are actively seeking a reliable and detail-oriented X-Ray Technologist to join the Radiology Department at its Short-Term Acute Care facility in Portland, OR. This 13-week night shift contract offers a consistent block schedule with call rotation and no weekend work required. First-time travelers are welcome!

Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality radiographic procedures on patients of all ages in accordance with physician orders.

Operate diagnostic imaging equipment to produce X-ray images of specified areas of the body.

Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.

Maintain detailed documentation and input exams into the EPIC charting system.

Adhere to infection control and safety standards.

Participate in an on-call rotation (2–4 shifts/month preferred).

Key Requirements:
Certifications: ARRT (R) and BLS (AHA)

Experience: Minimum of 1 year as an X-Ray Technologist required

Additional Info:

Shift: Monday–Thursday, 11:00 PM – 9:30 AM

On-Call Required: Yes – 2 to 4 shifts per month preferred

Weekends Required: No

Floating: Not required

Block Schedule: Required

Qualifications
Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program

Experience: 1 year of recent X-ray experience in a hospital setting

License: Oregon State Radiologic Technologist License (or eligibility prior to start)

Certifications: ARRT (R) and BLS (AHA)

Skills:

Proficient with digital radiographic equipment

Familiarity with PACS and EPIC charting systems

Excellent patient care and communication abilities

Strong attention to detail and safety protocols
