Position Summary

The CT Technologist performs computed tomography imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols. The role requires flexibility to perform both CT and X-ray procedures while collaborating effectively with other departments to ensure high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.

• Conduct X-ray procedures as needed.

• Start and manage IVs for contrast administration.

• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper positioning during imaging procedures.

• Operate imaging equipment efficiently and accurately.

• Communicate and collaborate effectively with nursing staff, radiologists, and other departments.

• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all hospital policies and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Active CT Technologist license – required.

• ARRT (CT) certification – required.

• Minimum 2 years of relevant clinical experience – required.

• Proficiency in both CT and X-ray imaging.

• Strong IV insertion skills.

• Ability to work independently and handle assigned-shift responsibilities.

Shift Details

Night shift, 7:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.; Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Saint Mary’s Hospital, Passaic, New Jersey.

Compensation

$59.85 per hour.

Shift Schedule

Alternating three and four 12-hour paid shifts, averaging 42 paid hours per week (36/48 paid hours in the two weeks). Scheduled hours: 07:00 PM–07:00 AM.
