Join Our Compassionate Med-Surg Nursing Team in Memphis!

JAC has partnered with a local healthcare organization seeking to hire full-time RNs. We are looking for compassionate and dedicated individuals to join the healthcare team. The ideal candidates will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the medical-surgical units of our 225-bed hospital. We have available shifts for nights (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM). This role requires a strong understanding of patient physiology, effective communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.

Responsibilities

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team.
Provide direct patient care, including catheterization and suture care.
Assist in discharge planning and educate patients and families on post-care instructions.
Maintain sterile processing standards to ensure a safe environment for patients.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records.
Qualifications

Valid RN license in the state of TN.
Experience in LTACHs or acute care settings is preferred but not required.
Familiarity with hospice care practices is a plus.
Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
Ability to perform tasks.
