Registered Nurse Med Surg- Telemetry

The Medical-Surgical/Telemetry RN assumes the responsibility and accountability for delivery of patient care of medical-surgical patients with a focus on continuous cardiac monitoring and medical conditions. The Medical-Surgical/Telemetry RN demonstrates the ability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficient manner, with supervision.

The Medical-Surgical/Telemetry RN exhibits critical thinking and performance ability in the coordination of patient care and consistently performs according to nursing standards while remaining accountable for providing patient care and assisting others in the management of patient care.

Shift: Nights, Every Other Weekend and Holiday
Nurse-Patient Ratio: 1:5-6

- EPIC experience required
- Permanent RN license for MA in hand
- 2+ years of recent Med Surg/Tele experience in an acute care hospital setting
- Minimum 1 year of travel experience required
- Must be able to perform their own phlebotomy and have IV experience
- Required skills: BiPAP experience, blood draws, IV starts, Telemetry monitoring experience required, orthopedic experience preferred
