JOB DESCRIPTION & REQUIREMENTS
Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical - Travel - (MS RN)
StartDate: 1/12/2026 Available Shifts: 12 N Pay Rate: $2142.00 - $2275.00

Number of Beds: 21 beds M4 is a 24-hour unit where various surgeries are seen which include but are not limited to: ENT, thoracic, neurosurgery, orthopedics, GYN, GYN oncology, urology, and general surgery " Special skills (not limited to): IV insertion, phlebotomy, Vocera use, tele, traction, ostomy care Services and treatment modalities include but are not limited to, Medication Administration, IV therapies/antibiotics, Monoclonal Antibody administration, blood and blood product transfusions, Chemotherapy administration, central access devices, sterile dressing changes on complex wounds, tube feeding, specialty bed therapy, wound vac placement, negative pressure wound therapy and palliative care.

Required Qualifications
Registered Nurse, MS
Licenses: RN-NY
Certifications: BLS-AHA
SSN Required
DOB Required
Work History: Should not be more than 0 days of gap in entire work history
References: 1 Reference in the last 12 months

1 year of experience required at a 600+ bed academic hospital w/passing competency testing score
2 years of experience, no testing required
Competency test required within 48 hours of submission, sent via HSH to candidates email. Please ensure an up-to-date email is provided at time of submission.

EPIC Experience
Trauma levels need to be included on every work entry.
Work history must be updated to current date
One reference within the past 12 months from a manager or Supervisor

Preferred Qualifications
Trauma Level 1 experience HIGHLY preferred, not required
