Join our team as a Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) Registered Nurse (RN) at Saint Mary's Hospital in Richmond, VA. Preferred qualifications include experience with neonatal resuscitation program (NRP) certification and advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) certification. Unit Specific Details
11 Labor Rooms, 2 OBs, 2 OR's, 3 OB ED (Triage), 12 Antepartum/Women's OBGYN unit
Average 200 deliveries per month.
Equipment: warmer, GE monitor, pulse ox, blood glucose
Skill Sets: fetal monitoring or cardiac monitoring
Patient Population: deliveries (vaginal/c-section), version, cerclages.
3 RNs and one tech for most shifts

Ratio*: 1:1 during active labor, 1:3 for antepartum
*Ratios are never guaranteed but what the unit attempts to achieve with normal staffing. Ratios are subject to change based on staffing.
