We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide comprehensive therapy services to individuals with physical, developmental, sensory, or cognitive challenges. The Occupational Therapist will assess clients, develop individualized treatment plans, provide therapeutic interventions, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve clients' independence and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and assessments.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
Provide therapeutic interventions and monitor patient progress.
Create home-based therapy programs and educate patients and caregivers.
Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to patient care planning.
Provide skills-based competency training to staff as required.
Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant electronic medical records.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
Ensure compliance with Texas Occupational Therapy licensure standards, HHSC regulations, and facility policies.
Deliver high-quality, patient-centered occupational therapy services.
Current Occupational Therapist (OT) license in the State of Texas.
License must remain active and in good standing throughout the assignment.
Maintain all required continuing education units (CEUs).
Good standing with the Executive Council of Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy Examiners.
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Proficiency in electronic documentation systems.
