Utilization Review Specialist

Description

Pay: $38/HR
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
Location: Remote (Supporting Florida locations)

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Mental Health, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
At least 2 years of Utilization Review or Insurance Authorization experience preferred
Knowledge of ASAM, LOCUS, or InterQual criteria
Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and Microsoft Office
Must be able to complete a Florida AHCA background check

Responsibilities:

Review clinical documentation for medical necessity
Obtain insurance authorizations and complete continued stay reviews
Submit clinical documentation and maintain accurate records
Work with clinical teams and assist with denials and appeals
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
