Surgical Oncology RN – Oklahoma City, OK – Affordable Housing + Great Pay

Position: RN Oncology – Surgical
Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Shift: Nights | 3x12s | 36 Hours/Week
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a Surgical Oncology/Stepdown assignment in Oklahoma City, OK. This position is ideal for RNs with strong acute care experience who are passionate about delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Job Responsibilities:

* Provide direct nursing care to oncology and surgical patients with varying levels of acuity
* Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to clinical changes
* Administer medications, IV infusions, and blood products as prescribed
* Assist physicians with examinations, treatments, and diagnostic procedures
* Document patient care, physician orders, and treatment responses accurately
* Educate patients and families regarding care plans and discharge instructions
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
* Delegate appropriate tasks to support staff

Requirements:

* Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
* Active Oklahoma RN License or Compact RN License (eNLC)
* BLS & ACLS certifications required (AHA)
* ONS/ONCC certification required
* Associate Degree in Nursing required
* BSN preferred
* Strong communication and critical thinking skills

Assignment Details:

* Unit: Surgical Oncology / Stepdown / Med-Surg
* W2 Weekly Gross Pay: Up to $2,700
* W2 Taxable Weekly Pay: $1,458
* Weekly Stipend (Non-Taxable): $1,242
* 1099 Weekly Pay: Up to $2,808
* 1099 Hourly Rate: $78/hr
