Join Our Cardiac Team as an Electrophysiology Nurse!

We are seeking a competent Electrophysiology (EP) Nurse to join our cardiac team. In this role, you will practice independently, providing routine and complex care for patients undergoing EP procedures. You will manage clinical contingencies and delegate tasks to ensure the highest level of patient safety and department efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Utilize the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation) for patients in the EP setting.

Administer medications and treatments via established protocols; monitor for effectiveness and side effects.

Document patient history, symptoms, and procedural data accurately in the clinical record.

Address complex psychological, emotional, and social needs of patients and their families.

Assess learning needs and provide specialized education to patients regarding their cardiac rhythm management.

Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Experience: 1+ year of experience in a Critical Care or EP Lab setting preferred; however, new graduates are accepted.

License: Current RN License (Texas or Compact state).

Certifications: * BLS: Required at time of hire (AHA or Red Cross).

ACLS: Required (Grace period: 30 days for experienced; 90 days for new grads).
