Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical/Surgical Pediatrics (Med/Surg Peds) in Minneapolis, MN. We’re seeking a compassionate and skilled RN to provide comprehensive nursing care to pediatric patients with a variety of medical and surgical conditions. Responsibilities include assessing patient needs, monitoring vital signs and clinical status, administering medications and treatments, managing IV therapy, assisting with procedures, maintaining accurate documentation, and collaborating with physicians and the multidisciplinary healthcare team. The RN will also provide education and emotional support to pediatric patients and their families while ensuring a safe, comfortable, and supportive care environment.

Setting/Facility Type: Hospital-based Pediatric Medical/Surgical Unit providing inpatient care to infants, children, and adolescents recovering from illness, injury, or surgical procedures.

Current, active Minnesota RN license or compact RN license
Previous pediatric medical/surgical nursing experience preferred
Current BLS/CPR certification
PALS certification preferred or required based on facility requirements
Strong pediatric assessment and clinical skills
Experience with medication administration, IV therapy, wound care, and patient monitoring
Ability to care for infants, children, and adolescents with diverse medical and surgical needs
Strong communication, teamwork, and critical-thinking skills
Ability to educate and support pediatric patients and their families
Accurate and timely patient documentation
Ability to work day/night shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed
