Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery - Travel - (LD RN)
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 12 N Pay Rate: $2492.00 - $2647.00

Nestled on the Central California Coast Adventist Health Sierra Vista has been providing care to our community since 1959. Our 162-bed acute care facility includes a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and county designated trauma center. The Labor and Delivery Nurse is responsible for the planning and provision of nursing care to patients and their families during the antepartum intrapartum and postpartum periods including emergency situations and circulating for C-Sections. Supervises and delegates care responsibilities to ancillary personnel commensurate with their scope of practice. This position is represented by CNA. Lbor & Delivery Unit – Unit Description Education & Experience Required Associate Degree in Nursing (A.S.) or equivalent Two (2) years of Labor & Delivery experience Preferred Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Licensure & Certifications Required Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice Basic Life Support (BLS) Accepted: HS-BLS or RQI BLS (per AH policy) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Accepted: HS-ACLS or RQI ACLS (per AH policy) Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) (per AH policy) Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Course Department / Facility-Specific Certifications (Required) Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) Or AWHONN Fetal Monitoring AHA or ARC certifications accepted for BLS, ACLS/ALS, and NRP/NAL
