Job Description
Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Polysomnographic Technologist to join our Sleep Lab team on a 13-week travel assignment. The ideal candidate will have experience working with both pediatric and adult populations and must be comfortable with a 1:2 ratio for adults and 1:1 for pediatrics. This is a day shift position with free parking and use of EPIC charting.
Responsibilities:
Conduct overnight polysomnography studies on pediatric and adult patients.
Analyze sleep study data using Alice 6 G3 software and ResMed CPAP units.
Administer CPAP/BiPAP titration.
Communicate findings and collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EPIC.
Float between like units as needed.
Key Requirements:
Certifications: RPSGT or RRT w/SDS, CA Polysomnographic Technologist License, BLS (AHA)
Experience: Minimum 1 year of relevant experience required
Charting System: EPIC proficiency required
Special Skills: Experience with Alice 6 G3 software and ResMed CPAP units
Additional Details:
Must be open to floating
First-time travelers accepted
Block scheduling considered at manager discretion
Guaranteed hours; facility may call off once per two-week pay period
RTO must be included at the time of submission
Local travelers accepted
Qualifications
Education: Associate’s Degree or equivalent in Polysomnography or Respiratory Therapy
Experience: Minimum 1 year of recent experience in sleep studies
License: Active CA Polysomnographic Technologist License (no pending)
Certifications: RPSGT or RRT w/SDS and BLS certification required
Skills:
Proficiency with EPIC charting
Competency with Alice 6 G3 and ResMed CPAP units
Ability to manage both pediatric and adult sleep studies
