Travel RN - Medical Surgical

Tripod Partners is seeking an experienced Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) for an exciting travel nursing opportunity in Mitchell, South Dakota.

The ideal candidate will have strong clinical experience in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry nursing, with the ability to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital environment. This position requires excellent assessment skills, adaptability, and the confidence to manage a diverse patient population.

Responsibilities

The Travel RN will be responsible for delivering comprehensive nursing care to Medical-Surgical and Telemetry patients, including monitoring and interpreting cardiac rhythms, administering medications and prescribed treatments, assessing changes in patient conditions, and responding appropriately to clinical emergencies.

The successful candidate will work closely with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualised care plans, maintain accurate clinical documentation, and provide education and support to patients and their families.

Requirements

Candidates must hold an active South Dakota or Compact RN license and have a minimum of 1–2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience. Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required.

Applicants must demonstrate strong clinical assessment skills, critical thinking abilities, excellent communication, and the flexibility to work rotating Day, Evening, and Night shifts.
