Role Summary
The OR Tech supports the surgical team by preparing the operating room, ensuring proper instrumentation, and maintaining a sterile environment. This role is essential to smooth case flow and high‑quality patient care in a fast‑paced surgical setting.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare and maintain sterile fields for surgical procedures

Assist surgeons and RNs during operations

Ensure proper functioning and availability of instruments and equipment

Anticipate surgical team needs throughout each case

Follow all safety, infection control, and facility protocols

Support turnover and room readiness between procedures

Qualifications
1+ year of recent OR Tech experience

Strong knowledge of sterile technique and surgical instrumentation

Ability to work efficiently in a high‑volume OR environment

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Certification preferred but not required (depending on facility)
