Overview
Advantage Staffing Services is seeking experienced Surgical IMCU/Stepdown RNs for a Level 1 Trauma Center. This unit cares for post-operative patients requiring intermediate care transferred from PACU or SICU, including cardiothoracic, vascular, neurosurgery, trauma, and transplant patients.
Shift & Schedule
PM – 12-hour night shifts
36 hours/week, every other weekend, every other holiday

Preferred: Trauma I facility experience

Unit Details
38 beds; patient ratios 1:3, 1:4, or 1:4-5 with IMCU patients
High-acuity post-op patients from multiple surgical specialties

Requirements
2+ years recent acute care experience
Surgical Stepdown experience at a Level 1 Trauma Center required
IMCU/Stepdown experience with auto med dispensing
More than 1 previous travel assignment
Able to independently read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips
Telemetry and Critical Care Med tests on Day 1
BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required
