Smith Chason College, an ACCSC-accredited institution, has been dedicated to educating the next generation of healthcare professionals for over 25 years. Founded by Dr. Neville Smith, M.D., and Myra Chason, BS, BSN, RDMS, the college began as a small ultrasound school in Beverly Hills, California. Today, it has grown into a multi-campus institution with locations across California and Arizona, offering a wide range of medical imaging and nursing degree and diploma programs. Our name honors the legacy and vision of our founders, who were driven by a passion to provide accessible, high-quality healthcare education. We continue that mission by offering hands-on, real-world education through blended learning—combining online coursework with in-person labs, simulation experiences, and clinical rotations. Our students have access to various ultrasound machines and nursing simulation equipment in on-campus labs that mirror real-world hospital, imaging clinic, and rehabilitation environments. Additionally, students utilize off-campus MRI and radiological imaging centers, building familiarity with the equipment used in the field. Programs culminate in externships and clinical rotations in hospitals or clinics nationwide, where students gain real-world experience under the guidance of knowledgeable professionals. We emphasize the importance of earning certifications after graduation to thrive in their field, offering ATI-prep curricula and registry reviews to prepare students for exams like NCLEX-RN, NCLEX-PN, SPI, CCI, ARRT, ARMRIT, and ARDMS. We partner with our students throughout their education and beyond, offering support through student advocate services, tutoring, open labs, and job placement assistance. Our commitment to developing high-quality educational programs ensures that our graduates are well-prepared to meet the challenges of the dynamic healthcare industry and support our local communities.
