Hi, I'm James. I develop and teach courses in food science and human nutrition at CSU (see details at /in/jpeth). I work hard every day because I seek to make a positive impact in public health. For fun, I love good food/drinks and having good meals together at home or out. I also enjoy music, art, culture, spending time with friends and family. I injured my spinal cord (C-5) during an adventure race in 1999 and have since been paralyzed from the chest down. I need help with many things, from basic activities of daily living to more skilled care. I employ several caregivers to help me during defined shifts and on and off throughout the day at home and at work.
