Minact/Shreveport Job Corps Center

Shreveport Job Corps Center is a residential, academic, and vocational training facility. We train students aged 16 to 24 who enroll in the program to obtain their high school diploma, HiSet, and a vocational trade. We offer Culinary Arts, Office Administration, Health Occupations, Welding, Advanced Welding, Painting, Carpentry, and Home Builders Institute. Our students live on center, and we also have non-resident students who come to school each day. We have a cafeteria, counselors, instructors, security, residential staff, recreation staff, and wellness center staff along with administration and support services. Minact is the contractor who operates the center, and we are Minact employees. Minact is located in Jackson, MS.
