We Are Houston Hospice. Founded in 1980, Houston Hospice is the oldest, largest, independent non-profit hospice in the Greater Houston area. Serving 13 counties that surround the Houston area, we are committed to being the highest quality hospice provider wherever we serve. Houston Hospice is proud to be a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization that is community-based and community-supported. Headquartered in the Texas Medical Center, Houston Hospice's service area is covered through three strategically located offices to cover our service area. It is our mission to provide uncompromising, compassionate, end-of-life care to patients of all ages and their families. We believe no one should live in pain or in fear of being alone. Our teams work with primary care physicians, patients, and families to identify goals and create a unique plan of care for each patient. We offer educated counsel and compassionate support and bereavement counseling to loved ones and family members.
