Friends Home in Kennett

The Friends Home in Kennett is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing quality care in a homelike atmosphere for older men and women. We encourage independence and we respect the individuality and dignity of all in keeping with the values of the Religious Society of Friends. Friends Home in Kennett values each person, honors his or her individuality, and guards each person’s dignity. Encouraging independence and self-determination is central to our philosophy of care. Each resident and family member is invited to be active in making decisions about care that is planned for and provided by the Home. Today we operate using the same guiding values that led our founders to create Friends Home in Kennett: •providing a comfortable home for older adults, at a moderate cost •giving residents a safe, nurturing home where each person is valued and respected Our values are reflected in the care we provide in Linden Hall, our skilled nursing facility, as well as in our personal care home.
