Camp Courageous of Iowa

Camp Courageous was founded in 1972 and had the honor of celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2022. Camp Courageous Mission: Provide exceptional year-round recreational and respite care opportunities for individuals with special needs and their families. The camp is run primarily on donations, giving all individuals the opportunity to give through gifts of time, materials, money, and other means that support the camp. Camp Courageous Vision: To inspire a world where individuals with special needs are empowered with courage, to look beyond their current capabilities and explore their world with confidence.
