Affordable at Home Care is a 3.5-year-old company with 6 locations across the state of OR. We are in need of a Nurse Case Manager in the Eugene/Springfield area to help delegate, train, and manage care staff around medication management with a portion of our clients. Why Affordable at Home Care: Our founder, Peter, worked for nearly two years as a caregiver before ever starting the In Home Care agency, and he came to the conclusion that there had to be a better way. From those times as a caregiver, Peter came up with a philosophy that would guide the culture of a "different" kind of Home Care business. "If we take care of the caregiver first, they in return will provide great care for the clients they serve." This is our difference: respecting, supporting, and empowering each other; not just in regards to care staff but office staff as well. The RN duties may include: · Obtaining physician orders for medications and medical treatments. · Monitoring medication and treatment services being provided by the agency. · Training care staff on specific medication tasks. · Delegating nursing tasks and generating supporting documents for client files. · Assuring the agency’s system for the management of medications and medical treatments is safe and meets the requirements of the state in-home care licensing rules, as well as best practices for medication and medical treatment management. · Participating in the quarterly Quality Reviews. Experience in home health is helpful. Work region is the Eugene/Springfield area. The nurse we seek is a reliable self-starter who requires little direction and has a positive, helpful attitude. A current valid driver's license, personal vehicle, and vehicle insurance coverage are required.
