The Labor and Delivery Technician plays a vital role in supporting the healthcare team during the labor and delivery process. This position involves assisting in the preparation and maintenance of the delivery area, ensuring a safe and sterile environment for both patients and staff. Duties
Prepare the labor and delivery room by ensuring all necessary equipment is available and in working order.
Assist healthcare professionals during labor and delivery by providing support with medical instruments and supplies.
Maintain cleanliness and sterility of the delivery area throughout the process.
Monitor inventory levels of medical supplies and equipment, restocking as necessary.
Load and unload medical supplies, ensuring proper handling to avoid damage.
Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts to transport supplies within the facility.
Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
Collaborate with nurses, doctors, and other staff members to ensure a smooth workflow during deliveries.
Job Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00)
Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)
