Job Description:

Join the 2 East/South Med/Surg Telemetry Unit at a respected Cleveland Clinic hospital, delivering high-quality care to adult patients with medical, post-operative, and telemetry monitoring needs. This unit is fast-paced, clinically diverse, and ideal for skilled Med/Surg Tele RNs who are confident in cardiac monitoring, patient assessment, and managing complex medical conditions.

Requirements:
✔️ Minimum 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience
✔️ Minimum 18 months of permanent MS/Tele bedside experience PRIOR to travel
✔️ Active OH or Compact RN License – IN HAND at submission
✔️ Certifications:
AHA BLS (required)
AHA ACLS (required)
NIHSS (must obtain prior to start)
✔️ One recent reference from Manager, ANM, Supervisor, Director, or Charge RN
✔️ Must pass:
ECG Rhythm Recognition Test
SafeMedicate Assessment
✔️ Must work every other holiday

Continuous telemetry monitoring
Broad range of medical and post-surgical diagnoses
Interdisciplinary support available
Orientation: 20 hours (non-billable)
Timekeeping: Qualivis – Lotus
Floating: Within MS/Tele scope as needed

Clinical Skill Expectations:
Telemetry monitoring & dysrhythmia interpretation
IV therapy & phlebotomy
Central & peripheral line care
Post-operative care
Medication administration & PCA
Wound care & isolation precautions
Rapid Response/Code support
